When it first arrived I wasn't sure that it would work too well as a detangling brush because the bristles are quite bendy but this allows the brush flexibility which means it is not so harsh on your hair. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it glided through my hair. I have fine hair and only brush it once a day so by the next day it tends to get a little knotted but whether my hair is wet or dry this brush glides through effortlessly.
