“Don't get this expecting it to taste like bacon, for me the bacon similarities ended at the visual appearance. It has a very strong/pungent smell that matches how it tastes, which I can't figure out how to describe except maybe burnt barbecue? Tasting just a single piece was hell on my tastebuds and I had to quickly grab some other food to mask the taste so I'd be able to swallow. I can't imagine this working as a seasoning both because of how bad it tastes but also because of how overpowering the flavour is even when I'd set other food to drown it out. Based on the other reviews here I seem to be in the minority for this experience but *oof* if you have sensitive tastebuds or want something that actually tastes like bacon trust me that this is NOT for you :(”
