“I loved these procuts when I got them however I kept them on the line outside. I live in Rural Victoria were it rains most of the time, so I found mine because discoloured and moudly. Just make sure you bring them in with the washing”
“The description does say that these wooden pegs shouldn't be left in any wet conditions (rain etc) - I understand this, but it does mean you can't really leave these on the line overnight or they will go mouldy
Otherwise fine pegs :)”
“These are a plastic free staple for anyone wanting to make the change.
Unfortunately, but expectedly, they can't be left out in the rain which I accidentally did earlier this year when there was no reprieve for a week. As such, I've lost my entire batch due to becoming mouldy and week.
That being said - if you look after them they will last and are wonderful. I don't find any marks left on the clothes either!”
“I've only been using these pegs for a few weeks and have been happy so far. I like the look of wooden pegs (makes me think of my childhood and my mother pegging clothes to the Hills Hoist) but didn't want timber, so happy to have pegs made of bamboo.”
“I feel at ease using these pegs, knowing that unlike plastic pegs, these ones will not break apart with exposure to the sun- and even if they do (which is unlikely), they will eventually decompose. Mine have lasted for over a year, and still look and feel brand new. They are very durable (as long as you don't twist them as they are held together by a small metal piece), and they hold your clothes securely to the line in windy weather. I have had them out in the rain at times, and they have not shown any sign of deterioration. Definitely will continue to buy this product.”
“These pegs look and feel great. I've only had them for a few weeks but, so far, the quality of the spring action appears to be excellent. I've got a feeling that they will last a long time. Great quality for a very reasonable price.”
