“This is useful for collecting those little bits of soap, and for making a nice lather when you're washing. But of course it's a soggy mess at the end of the shower. I don't want it to get all gross, so I like to squeeze out excess water and then hang it off the window handle to help it air dry. If I didn't have a window (e.g. if I lived in one of those apartments where the bathroom is all closed in without a window), I would have to figure out somewhere else to hang it, otherwise it would be a bit gross. You know, when a bar of soap gets left half in water in the soapdish and is all gooey the next time you go to use it? I'm trying to avoid that! But yeah for actual use in the shower, it feels nice, isn't scratchy, and I feel like I can get more use out of my soap.”
