“The colours range from cherry red, mauve and bright baby pink; all colours I've wanted for my diy pedis at home. Unfortunately the brush applicators suck and barely fan out, leaving an uneven and streaky finish even with a super steady hand. As such the end results look tacky. Switched from using OPI in the hope that I could get as good a finish but with a 10-free formula.”
“Since discovering Hanami nail polishes, I am hooked. The colours are opaque and never streaky. I love buying the smaller packs like this as you get a variety of colours. This is a great colour combo if you want some blush and red-toned staples in your collection.”
“I'm impressed by the way this nail polish lasts for a more natural product. Unfortunately it still has a strong smell, so not water based, but doesn't contain the nasties of other polishes. I like three of the four colours, which isn't a bad hit rate for a product that is sight unseen!”
“[Considering the usual price for a single bottle, the Hanami sets are a good bargain. I have noticed that it chips faster than the polishes I used before but I'm not quite sure if that's because of the polish itself, due to how hands-on my work is or how I'm applying the polish. Either way, if more sets come out I'd buy'em.]
Why yes, that is a copy-paste :D! I still stand by it though but I find that this colour set seems to be aimed for a more light/dark contrast on the nails. Maybe a French manicure? I will admit that I find the dark polish to be a bit aging on me.”
