“I've owned this razor for nearly 6 months now, and it's perfect.
I'd only ever used disposable razors before, but I never really found them that effective, and in an effort to be more zero-waste, I lashed out and bought this.
I was very nervous using it for the first time - I pictured blood everywhere. But honestly I haven't nicked myself once, legs or underarms! It took absolutely no learning curve for me which I was surprised about. I just take it slow, don't apply pressure, and the razor does the work for me.
I dropped it only once on the second day I owned it (well more like knocked it off the soap shelf, it's a long way down). I was terrified because another reviewer said they dropped theirs and it broke. Thank goodness mine survived!
Take the blade out and dry it and the razor in between uses (and don't drop it) and the thing will last for years and years. I might even give it to my future grandkids some day.
Side note: I bought Shark chrome blades to use with the razor, and I've only just replaced the first one (it was getting scratchy), so they go alright too!”
“I love this razor, it’s a great weight and a pleasure to use. It does take a little getting used to. I’ve learned I cannot rush and I use moisturiser rather than soap, or I’ll cut myself. But with a little care it is perfect.”
“This is a great razor, you get a much closer shave than disposible razors. I use regular body soap with it and it works fine. Haven't cut myself dispute being reluctant to use it at first. I just let the weight of the razor do the work. Im very happy with this purchase and keeping my plastic razor just in case I need it for travel purposes.”
