“We’ve had two of these on the run for about a year and can’t believe how easy it is. It’s very satisfying to see the white fluff on the food scraps breaking down and seeing nature work! I leave it on the back verandah and once full leave it to break down for two weeks more until I throw it in the compost tumbler to speed it up or else dig into some lawn or soil somewhere in the garden. Works so well, the liquid strained off is very beneficial to dilute with water for the plants and the smell disappears after a few hours. Highly recommended - 5 stars.”
“When the lid is closed there is no smell, however sometimes when opening the lid if it is full and full of a variety of items it can smell for a short while, but that's fairly standard. Love using the juice in the garden, and I just spray the bin out with the hose between uses. I use one larger one for outside on the balcony and a small one for inside which gets emptied into the larger one when full.”
“I'm really impressed with my Composter. It doesn't smell at all, takes up very little space and looks lovely. The tap works well at the bottom.
I must admit I empty my scraps into the outside compost bin when it fills up so I don't know how well it would do as the only compost system for a household.”
