“I was so excited to receive my urban composter, however once putting everything together I noticed the tap leaking. If I were to tighten to prevent s leak, the nozzle would be facing upwards. My urban composter is useless and have asked for a refund. Buyer beware”
“I've had my small urban composter for several years & have never had a problem with it. I live in an apartment & it's perfect for my needs. In fact, I'm about to but a second one to help with the rotation of the contents so I can keep composting even when then other one is full & still going through it's composting process. I always use the compost accelerator, as well.”

“I bought this to use in the kitchen so I needed a product that would not leak or smell, look sleek but not stand out and be the right size. Having used another system before, these were vital
considerations. I am absolutely thrilled with my purchase. The assembly instructions were very clear. After doing the 'water test' I had to re position the nut and all was well. Composting in the kitchen is easy when we have a system that works. I use an old potato masher to compress the kitchen scraps before spraying with the compost accelerator, which is another improvement on the other compost system.
I release the liquid down the sink which keeps it nice and clean. Definitely no unpleasant odour, which is such a relief. I have bought an urban composter so that I can have a continuous composting
cycle going. Great design and system, a huge improvement on the bokashi method.”
