“I signed up for the 2018 Pro Practice Bootcamp after failing my first PJM exam and feeling deeply discouraged. I had been studying in my free time, but when I saw the actual questions on the exam, I realized I didn’t truly understand them. In my first week, Mike and the YA team introduced us to a structured study plan. We met weekly to review our progress, and we had study group meetups — which, for me, were the heart and soul of the program. The Bootcamp lasts about 33months, but in reality, it doesn’t end until you’ve passed all your exams. The YA platform is designed to provide ongoing support, especially after the Bootcamp ends. There are always Zoom meetups, video resources, practice materials, and guidance to help you prepare for your next exam. After finishing the Bootcamp, I continued with Young Architect Academy, which focuses on each exam individually, along with regular meetups. The meetups deserve their own spotlight — we were so driven to pass these exams that our energy became contagious. We would spend hours going over practice questions together. I took the Professional Practice Bootcamp, which gave me the foundation I needed “to learn how to learn” — and that helped me eventually pass the technical exams too. There is a Technical PPD/PDD Bootcamp available as well. YA have a personal touch. There were times when I called or DM’d Mike for advice, and he answered the phone. Destiny, Lorenzo, and other team members are real people who generously give their time to help students pass these tough exams. They’re truly there for you. My only regret is missing the YA conferences in Portland and other meet-and-greet opportunities — because YA isn’t just a platform. It’s a community.”

“The ARE Bootcamp is an investment you won’t regret! This program has had a major impact on both my career and personal life, not only because of what I have learned, but also because of how much time and money it has saved me. Thanks to the Bootcamp, I was able to focus on the right material from day one, avoid wasting money on unnecessary study resources, and pass each exam on the first try so far (4 down, 2 to go). No wasted time, no costly retakes. What truly sets this program apart is that it doesn’t just teach you how to pass a test. It helps you build real, lasting knowledge that carries over into your day-to-day work as I genuinely understand the material rather than simply memorizing it and moving on. “As it stands, I have passed 5 of the 6 ARE exams on the first try, all thanks to the bootcamp. I knew going into my studying that I wanted a more guided program and a group I could turn to for help and the bootcamp gave me both. I wanted to waste as little time and money as I could and I think the investment into both bootcamps was completely worth it. I highly reccomend it if you think you could benefit from it or are on the fence.”

“Bootcamp has a great setup and has organized its content in a user friendly interface that helps you keep on track and focused on the big picture. After many years of graduating architecture school going to bootcamp was a big motivational and academic support. Without shorcuts or cutting corners, bootcamp provides the knowledge needed to have a better shot at passing your exams. Money well spent.”

“YA's ARE Bootcamp has been invaluable lifeline on my journey to licensure. Aside from the super helpful meetups and the built-in accountability element, the ARE Bootcamp portal has an incredible wealth of well-indexed resources to help you study for all six divisions of the ARE. However, the I think the key component that sets this program apart is the sense of community, the Admin Team's availability to assist with any questions and the overall excellent customer service. Upon joining the community last July, it was immediately apparent to me that these folks are genuinely interested in helping ARE candidates pass their exams and move on with their careers. I would recommend YA's ARE Bootcamp to anyone beginning, midway or wrapping up their licensure journey. Frank G.”

“The Pro Practice Bootcamp last year supported me through success I had only dreamt about before then. It truly made a difference. Over the past year, I completed all three pro-practice exams (PjM, CE, and PCM), and Bootcamp played a major role in helping me push past years of spinning wheels. The support, mindset training, and structure made a huge impact. What stood out to me most was how generous and thoughtful the Young Architect team is. They truly take into account the person as a whole. The encouragement, the chips when you pass, the sense of community, all of it matters. It’s not just a prep program. It’s a support system.
