“The roof racks look great on the car. Extremely happy with quality! NO wind noise either which is perfect!
We did need to make a couple of small modifications to the installation, as once fitted (as per instructions & advice also from technical advisor) - the racks still had movement in them.
The first modification was to install additional washer (supplied) under each stud when screwed into existing threads on car roof. This prevents thread ‘bottoming out’ without the full thread being taken up sufficiently.
The 2nd modification was to install 1 split ring washer (not supplied) under each of the ‘mount brackets’ & on top of M6 Nyloc nut . This takes up slack & puts tension on the rack, ensuring a good secure attachment!”
