“I was hesitant to buy this because of the lack of reviews, but took a chance on it anyway. The bag is a good size. It holds 1 deep 3700 box and 3 regular 3700's in the main compartment in the center. Has room for 2 more...one on each side. The top compartment is roomy enough to hold leader spools, rags, soft plastics or whatever else you need to carry with you. The "shelves" where the boxes slide in are held in place with velcro on sides and back. The floor of the top compartment is also held in place with velcro on all four sides. The bag comes flattened in a box and it's up to the buyer to install the floor of the top compartment and the "shelves" in the main compartment. An instruction sheet comes with it, but it really isn't difficult. Just line up the velcro strips and you're good to go. the file-type pocket on the front is good to sort packs of hooks and the waterproof pocket is good to hold a phone or keys or whatever you don't want to get wet. It's not terribly big so I don't know if some of the larger phones will fit, but it's a decent size for most phones. The bag I'm replacing only held 3 3700 boxes, so I have room for one more box in this bag. The side pockets I've stuffed with insect repellant, sunblock, some rags, buffs, and gloves. I also threw in a couple of small tackle boxes that hold small hooks and split shots. There's a holder for pliers and a couple of other tools in the right side pocket. after spending hundreds of dollars on other bags, I think I finally found one that will hold all the stuff I need without having to leave stuff behind. The top compartment gives me the freedom to stuff it full of whatever miscellaneous junk I want to take along and still keep everything organized.”
“Let me start by saying that I love the AFTCO brand and have no problem paying a premium for high quality items. Sadly, this tackle bag is not what I’ve come to expect from premium brand AFTCO. It’s a do-it-yourself, put together case with build it yourself velcro “shelving”. Not worth the price and not up to what I’ve come to expect from AFTCO.”
