“When I purchased these gloves , I was very hesitant to pay the 35.00 sticker price, but I figured that these must be a pretty awesome set of gloves for that money...Well in the first three weeks of using them two days a week for live lining rockfish, I found myself very impressed with these gloves. Then things began to unravel...LITERALLY. The front covers on the fingers came undone and then the thumb on my working hand glove literally wore out and split from grasping the rockfish. This cause a really nice scrape on my thumb from the mouth of the rockfish.The gloves however were the most comfortable gloves I have ever worn while fishing. My intention is to contact Aftco and try to get a replacement set. Maybe they will have an idea for a better kind of glove for the type of fishing I do. Maybe for less aggressive fishing I would think they would hold up better. Other than these issues though I really did enjoy these gloves. It should be noted that before I was even able to contact AFTCO that they had emailed me and arranged to replace my gloves with a pair that may be more suitable to my needs. This was totally unsolicited and speaks volumes for the obvious Awesome Customer Service shown by AFTCO.For tha they surely get 5 stars!!!”
