“My greatest affliction is winter time smallmouth and the worst part about it is keeping your hands warm and being able to feel that soft tick or pressure when a fish hits. I've gone through dozens of other brand gloves over the years and never found that perfect combination of warmth and being able to feel. My search is finally over! These are perfect for those cold mornings or day on the water when you want to actively fish.”
“I got a pair of these gloves and after two times my right handed glove got a tear in it. I was very disappointed in that and wished I had a receipt to return them but it was a gift to me from someone else. I liked the gloves though but for the costs I was disappointed that it tore so quickly. Hope you guys have better luck.”
“Sucks because I love AFTCO and overall I like the gloves. They are slim but warm, they fit well and tight, but you cannot grip a baitcaster well at all with these gloves. My little brother recently bought some $17 gloves on amazon that are literally almost identical to these but with much better grip. I like the thought, but you could go without the fish designs on the palm and put some actual grip on the palm and fingers that make these more worth fishing with. If you plan on fishing a baitcaster, you’ll probably end up taking these off and sucking it up to the cold”
“I bought these gloves for my early morning trips to the water and they are very good at keeping my hands warm in cooler temps, are thin, and does not compromise my retrieving. Would suggest putting a more insulated glove over when out in freezing temps. 100% recommend!”
“The gloves kept my fingers and hands dry, but in no way did the gloves keep my hands warm at all and the water temp was in the low 50's with the air temp in the mid 40's.The gloves performed poorly in my opinion”
