“My third pair (one still going strong, the other one had a waist seam rip out - not the fault of the shorts, but the extreme use I put it to). My everyday go-to. Ideal for year 'round wear in Florida. Sturdy enough fabric but not too heavy, just right. Reinforced pliers pocket a big plus. Comfortably roomy but not baggy - inseam not too short, not too long; plenty of pockets. The elastic waist accommodates about two sizes (e..g., 36 - 38 will fit either a 36 or a 38). Tried hard to think of ways to improve these shorts, but nada, they are perfect as is. The black will eventually fade to a dark steel gray, but this is after many, many washings and lots of time in the sun. Highly recommended.”

Every pair I get now, has some weird bunching after washing one time, and the stitching is always coming out. Quality has dropped tremendously, but the price has gone up.”
