“NO KIDDING.....I HAVE BEEN WEARING AFTCO ORIGINAL BLUEWATER FISHING SHORTS SINCE THEY CAME ON THE MARKET. What's that? 40 years???? My Aunt in which I'm very close too, bought me my first pair for my birthday or something. Every since, I've been hooked. I COMPLETELY GAVE UP EVEN OWNING ""LONG PANTS"". My long pants are a pair of slicker rain pants.
I even worked for the state of Florida for 10 years, and got them to allow us to wear shorts because it was so hot. I did Plumbing for the State University system and wore them EVERYDAY, until they made us go to Dickies style ""WORK SHORTS"". I own drawers full of various colors in 38's when I was thinner, and younger. And 40's for when I got fatter and over 55 years old. GOAL: "wear more of the 38's". MY ENTIRE FULL-TIME FISHING GUIDE CAREER, I've worn nothing but AFTCO's. So that alone is 27 years, day in day out. I'M ALSO A YOUTUBER, plus I also work for SEATOW . The overall comfort & QUICK DRYING IS THE KEY, WITH UNMATCHED DURABILITY!! THE ORIGINAL MO1, is the best for me. I have only re-sewn the front buttons on, with 30 pound braided fishing line, and Mono. And I like the WIDE belt loops as I use a 2 inch wide Nylon belt, Everyone who knows me...... KNOWS, that do not expect me to be in long pants. EVER! I have worn out the elastic sewn into the shorts waist band on many. Guess it stretches and says, Ok I've had enough. NEVER had a zipper issue. I have blown out the rear pockets on a few, but that doesn't keep them from being pressed into service. The threads on the butt, have just worn too thin. They ain't cheap. But ya get what you pay for. You should have a slogan, "ONLY IN AFTCO's"”
