“I was looking for some fishing shorts with a waterproof pocket and these were the only shorts out there. I purchased a pair on line from BPS to give them a shot and they have been great so far. A few weeks ago I got caught in a South Florida downpour and had my cell phone in the water tight pocket. It was pouring, windy and I was running wide open for a good 20 minutes; when the rain stopped I pulled out my cell and it was bone dry. The pocket definitely works. The other side pockets are big and can hold large items if needed, and the pliers pockets are good depth and also make a decent quick access cell . The only thing I would change is the material. It is on the hot side and doesn't breathe well; it does dry quickly though and seems pretty stain resistant. Would love to see a lighter weight material long pants version with the waterproof pockets perhaps on the leg and or the back pocket.”
