“Winter time in the Gulf of Mexico can be brutal if you’re not prepared for the weather. Despite less than ideal conditions my new Aftco Bibs and Jacket kept me dry and warm all day long. Making any water comfortable and funto fish!”
“I’m 5 foot 8 170lbs and bought a medium bib and jacket they fit great, and I can say the hydronaut bib and jacket is exactly what I needed for cold weather outer layer (North Mississippi). Fishing cold weather crappie tournament in drizzle rain and 15 mph wind, I was dry and warm. I was also very comfortable while while driving 65mph across the lake.”
“These bids are very well made and feel durable. They are a little harder to get into than bibs with traditional shoulder straps but once they're on, very comfortable. I would say the hand warmer pockets are a little too high on the chest for practical use but I'm normally wearing a jacket oven them anyway. I'm also trying to get used to the inner fly zipper. I'm not sure why it's there and may end up cutting it out for ease of use. I would say they run big, I normally wear a large but the medium fit perfectly. Overall I'm happy with the bibs and would buy again.”
“Took the hydronaut bibs and jacket out for a field test on a cold morning and it did not disappoint. Used as my outer layer with a reaper underneath I was warm and did not mind the wind or cold while running 65mph across the lake. They kept me comfortable so I could continue to sling plenty of slab crappie into the boat. As the day warmed up I was able to just shed the outer jacket and stay comfortable. I’m 5’8” 175lbs and the medium in both fit great with a little room for extra layers.”
