“I bought a large, I’m 165 lbs. and 5’ 10”. It fits great, with enough room to fit a sweatshirt underneath if needed. The only thing I wish they would have included was a cinch to close up the bottom on really windy days. There’s extra space in the back where wind is going to be able to ride up. Not the end of the world, but it would have made it so much better.”
“When I pulled this pullover out of the packaging, I was immediately impressed by its weight. It had substance to it, which was a relief because I live inMinnesota and was hoping it wouldn't be TOOlightweight but have some substance as an outerlayer. The second thing I noticed was the satisfyingtexture of thing - it's got a checkered thin, ripstop-like outer layer that allows this hex-shaped patternof the inner liner to come through. It's so perfect formy intended use as an outer layer. With a thermalon in 30 degree weather it is warm, but as youstand there you do feel the cold creep in in the arms. But with a good mid-layer, say a good quality woolsweater, this Reaper pullover is absolutely just theperfect piece of outerwear I've ever owned! I loveit. When I wore it to the Brainerd Lakes Area lastweek (second week of November in northeasternMinnesota), my 20-year-old son commented thatwhen he saw it, he thought for sure it was anexpensive piece or gear - until I told him it costedjust $99. I explained that I thought AFTCO was a cheaper, lower-quality brand when I did a Googlesearch because the price was so low, until I foundsome AFTCO gear on St. Croix's gear page, where Ithought maybe there was something to this company. Turns out AFTCO makes serious gear foryour average angler, without the exorbitant Simmspricing. Now I know what to get my son for eitherXmas or his birthday, and he'll love it! It doesn't havetons of storage options but is just a really nice pullove that does as advertised - it's windproof andit's warm within a layering system. I'll definitely bebuying more AFTCO gear.”
“On a recent trip the wind went through the bibs I had on. Along with sweat pants but not through the Reaper Wind Block. Worked as stated!! Highly recommend!!”
“What a great pullover/jacket. The only downside is that I only purchased one. I Will be getting a few more eventually; one for every closet, car, boat and a kayak I have.”
“This Reaper Windproof Pullover is great for those first thing in the morning trips on the lake. It kept me warm all the way to the spot where we were starting the fishing day. Now if AFTCO will just offer a fleece lined version of the tactical fishing pants I would be all set to stay warm on the lake in any conditions!”
