Regular sweatshirts were not match for the wind and if you wore enough clothes to be warm, you could not move. I love this jacket (more like a sweatshirt). I actually bought a second one to leave in the cars just in case.”

“This is a great garment if you're looking for a windproof shell. I got the XL - the fit is roomy, but the neck area feels just right, so if you have a larger neck I'd err on the big side. I'm 6'-3/200# for reference. It's a bit heavier duty than I expected - the pictures look a bit like a heavy sweatshirt, but it's definitely a jacket as described. The pro of no zipper in the front is the windproof factor. The con is people can't see my Mr. T neck chains. All kidding aside, this is a great jacket for long cold runs in the boat.”
