“Unfortunately, the design of women's field shorts has changed in the last couple of years. The waistband, especially, now puckers and adds bulk to the belly, which is absolutely not flattering to a woman. Most AFTCO shorts are gathered too much and add thickness to the waistline. I own the old style of field shorts with a thick, smooth elastic band that lay flat to the body, and THAT is why I fell in love with the field line short, due to the fit. The original AFTCO field line was ah-maZing! I have the overalls, jacket and two pairs of shorts in the old design. It is a disappointment to find the fit has been altered. :( I would love to see AFTCO expand this line for women, but only if the fit is more complimentary.”
