“The book of Psalms is by far one of my favorite books of the Bible. I enjoy reading David�s words to become encouraged and inspired and mentally stimulated. It�s such a great book, and Alabaster nails the aesthetic every single time! But, I was hoping the pictures would actually tie in with the words a little bit more. At times, the pictures didn�t seem to relate to the text at all, but rather they were like a random splash of art. This can be a hindrance, as some readers might become distracted in deciphering the meaning of the picture (either in place of the text or trying to make sense of its accordance with the text), and nothing overrides the perfect words of the Word of God. In another token, the reader could be able to truly understand the words and appreciate the art in its own separate way, and maybe even think of a way that the art truly relates. In my opinion, I would rather have had pictures that related to the text a bit more, but I do appreciate the unique and minimalistic art that Alabaster provides its readers with. The book is gorgeous in both the texts and the art! Nothing beats the Word of God! I am so happy they came out with Psalms - so stoked to have this as a beautiful and meaningful coffee-table piece along with my other Alabaster book of Mark!”

“What an accomplishment. Its impossible to improve the Word of God but I love seeing an improvement in how its presented. Alabasters Book of psalms is accurate, beautiful and its pages are a joy to turn. The photography is fantastic and the the themes are well represented. If I were offered a chance to give my input, The only thing I would do is reduce the number of portraits. Especially human portraits. I found that to be a bit distracting from the word to see modern/mostly American faces mixed in within the scriptures. I would have included more of their beautiful scenery, nature and building photos. I feel like the human portraits will eventually date the book.
That said, I was grateful to receive this preview from Alabaster, grateful to review it, and will certainly display it in my home along with the other books we have purchased from Alabaster and Co. They make beautiful books and handle Gods word with respect!”

The styling and easy flowing structure is perfect for reading and for displaying in your home.
