“This new read through Ecclesiastes is a journey in the beauty of an ancient classic text in the Old Testament. The pictures beautiful match the text's themes of "fleeting". With creative new imagery and thoughtful care and design in the typeset this is another grand slam from Alabaster! I would recommend to anyone!

“At the time I am writing this review, the infectious disease known as COVID-19 has turn the world upside down. What is truly essential in this life? Does beauty matter? Does life have meaning?
These are difficult questions, and the book of Ecclesiastes shows us — amidst the fleetingness of life — to embrace the present, release anxious worried about the future, and trust in God. This book by Alabaster helped communicate these truths and help me understand our current situation in a way I have never experienced before.
As explained in the artist introduction by co-founders Brian Chung and Bryan Ye-Chung, the photos were specifically curated to reflect the themes that are found in Ecclesiastes. Ephemeral images and faint elements adorn the pages. Landscapes and natural materials help us explore this fleeting world. They caused me to stop and reflect on the beauty that God graciously gives us even in the temporary and momentary.
The book of Ecclesiastes by Alabaster has helped me to better understand and feel God’s Word during these difficult days. This book is not a distraction to help you pass the time. It is the Word of God and I found myself meditating upon it, interact with it, and really letting it sink in. While the world has changed, God’s Word remains the same.

“Ecclesiastes is a book where many of my favorite verses are pulled from. Alabaster Co gives these verses about the wonder of God, fearing the Lord, timing, wisdom and other truths so much more depth because of the format and intriguing pictures. This book is done justice. It brings focus and attention to the living Word and makes me not want to stop reading! Well done!”

“This is one of the most beautiful ways to read the Word of God! I've loved reading Ecclesiastes with Alabaster Bible. Ecclesiastes is a beautiful book filled with much imagery and wisdom, so it is only fitting to read it in a format that is just as contemplative and stunning. Reading through this version, I am able to slow down and have more of a reflective experience while pausing on the simplicity of each page, honing in on the words, and being aided by the stunning visuals. Reading Ecclesiastes in this format has brought a new dimension and color to the ancient words.

“The book of Ecclesiastes is such a comfort at all times but truly during a time of pandemic to rest and dwell in the hope of God's word trusting He has a plan and perfect timing for all things! I of course, love the layout and aesthetic Alabaster always brings to their books. They truly bring scripture to life in a new and fun way. I am so excited to have this one in my Alabaster collection! Highly recommend.”
