“Such an incredible edition! I love the new look. Honestly, I didn't know the most beautiful bible could get more beautiful but I do believe these ones look more professional and sharper than before.
Matthew is my favorite of the four gospels. Matthew really balances his Jewish background with an emphasis on the teaching of Jesus and the parables.
I have close friends who have been struggling to find hope in this dark year and I'm always reminded of the opening of Matthew to combat falling into the same trap: John the Baptist cries "repent, for the kingdom or heaven is at hand." Then later in Matthew Jesus says "if I cast out demons by the power of God, then the Kingdom of heaven HAS come upon you."
This is a solid reminder of Christ's rule and reign as king of kings here and now. We don't have to wait, but as Paul says, we are seated right now with Christ in the heavenly places.
