There is a lack of clear connection between the progression of images and the book of Job. The strongest part of the composition, in my opinion, was at the end, which had stunning nature images in between God’s responses to Job.
Overall, I’m a little disappointed with this alabaster Bible. I was hoping for a congruency similar to the alabaster Bible book of John (with a stunning progression of canvases being painted on) and instead it was too abstract for my taste.”
