It gives room for self-application and reflection. The design of this book itself gives space to do so because of it's beautiful design. It reads more like a story rather than a commentary or study Bible. I would recommend using this for contemplation, reflection and prayer, better understanding of Bible stories, but not to replace a study bible or commentary. This book is a great place for any Christian in their walk with God! This has helped immensely with my devotional life as it has caused me to reflect on different areas of my life and how it relates to those in the Bible.
