“I already have Volume 1 of The Good and Beautiful Bible Study so when I found out that there was a second volume launching, I was ecstatic. The first thing that I love about this Bible study is that it give you the option to read the key moment that the study is focused on, as well as the full reading so that the scripture can be read in full context. Secondly, I love how the authors created themes that each study focused on and breaks down the original scripture and compares it to modern day examples. Finally, the “pause, ponder, and pray” reflection in each study has to be my favourite thing about this study. The reminder to do these three “p’s” helps me to be in the present moment, to block out all distraction and reflect on the story. It is also so refreshing to have a physical (and might I add, beautiful) bible study book that allows me to take a break from the digital bibles and bible studies and bask in the creativity of God’s word without distraction. This will be my new coffee table book :)”
