“What a beautiful concept and masterfully executed. There was so much thought, intentionality, and prayer that must have gone into the creation of this Gospel set....not to mention the hard work!
I just received my set in the mail, but I foresee a lot of time in thought, prayer, and contemplation of both the Scriptures and the photos found in this Alabaster Bible project. Highly recommended for those that truly appreciate the sacred reflected in beauty!”
“As a seminary graduate, I'm used to good Bible study materials-- I have several commentaries and study Bibles, not to mention all my theology books and articles. I'm used to analyzing text, and I've always struggled to simply appreciate the innate beauty of God's word.
This is exactly where Alabaster shines. I love not just the quality of the artwork, but also how the combination of text and art lead me to just sit and remain in the text, rather than analyze and exegete. It's unusual to think of beauty so closely associated with the Bible, but Alabaster does it extremely well, and I would highly recommend this for other seminary students.”

“Backed this project on Kickstarter. Just received it - AMAZING! I am a visual learner and this brings the Gospels (NLT version) to life! They do a great job combining the Scriptures with relevant pictures that make you think deeply about what is being said. The presentation is spectacular - the paper, binding, quality of the pictures, etc. - and it's printed in Canada! I would highly recommend and can't wait to be able to buy more copies for friends and family!”

“This is a gorgeous set of books. I kind of wish it was NIV but NLT is good too. The pages and photos are very high quality. I loved the books so much that I pre-ordered their new Psalms book on indiegogo to add to my set”
