“I liked everything about the zoo, the animals and birds seemed content in their habitats, the staff were all helpful, it was a relaxing day, and I enjoyed taking lots of photos.”
“Having been once before to Lagos Zoo we were determined to take our daughter and three grandchildren when we were in the area in January. None of us were disappointed!
We were so impressed that the animals have such decent environments to live in and all looked perfectly content. The entire area was clean and looked well cared for, with adequate toilet and picnic areas. We all enjoyed watching the various birds and animals having their lunch and were glad to take advantage of the cafe to have our own bite of lunch too. Well placed with a safe play area out the back for the youngsters with too much energy.
The staff whom we encountered were very friendly and helpful and the information boards by each enclosure were interesting to read. Our ages ranged from 20 months to 71 years and can honestly say that we all had a fantastic day.”
“Excellent medium sized zoo with extremely interesting and varied animals in suitably spacious surroundings. Friendly, clean and well presented. We particularly liked the bird collections and the fact that the zoo is actively involved in preservation programs with other zoos worldwide. An excellent day out for both adults and children.”
