The AlkaViva Reverse Osmosis system is perfect! It combines the purity of Reverse Osmosis (RO) with the tremendous benefits of healthy minerals. Therefore, it can be used with a water ionizer to give you perfect alkaline, ionized water. Historically, this has not been easily achieved for various reasons.
But the experts at AlkaViva have created the perfect solution, ensuring you can have perfectly clean and healthy water!
With the AlkaViva membrane, you can enjoy more protection. RO membranes typically only get up to 97% of the toughest contaminants, but the AlkaViva membrane reduces up to 99.995%, providing you with a higher level of safety. You can also be assured of longer-lasting performance and less ongoing replacement costs. The membrane's life is two years instead of one, giving you peace of mind about your investment.
Improved mineralization. Cation exchange technology improves contaminant reduction and increases mineral uptake.
Broad-spectrum remineralization. 70+ trace minerals, plus calcium and magnesium, are added with the remineralizer filter, to create the right amount of minerals for ionization. These are tested, eco-friendly, and safe minerals.
Why Buy Your AlkaViva Reverse Osmosis System from Alkaline Water Plus?
You may see cheaper prices online for the AlkaViva reverse osmosis system, but when you go to check out you will be surprised to see you have a whopping shipping cost (usually over $100) added to your price. At Alkaline Water Plus we account for these shipping charges and the price you are shown is the price you pay.
Enjoy better flow rates and a larger tank with the AlkaViva RO System.
The larger tank means less frequent refills and improved flow rates.
Keeping Your System Optimized
The filters must be changed annually to keep your RO System functioning optimally. Additionally, the RO Membrane needs to be replaced every two years.
The Issues with R/O [Reverse Osmosis]
Reverse Osmosis removes almost all the naturally occurring minerals from the water. However, ionization needs minerals to work, so an ionizer will only sometimes work on R/O-treated water.
AlkaViva has perfected remineralization technologies to add a healthy blend of inorganic and organic forms of calcium, magnesium, potassium, and 70+ organic trace elements to the water before ionization. This particular RO system is made to use with an ionizer. It has the right minerals, tank size, pressure, speed, and other factors that a water ionizer needs - built in.
Here's how the RO and water ionizer systems work together:
Provided the water has enough minerals, an ionizer generates Hydrogen gas at the cathode (increasing the pH and antioxidant levels and making it extremely healthy and healing water).  It also concentrates whatever alkaline minerals are in the water into the alkaline water stream and gives them a negative charge, making them more bio-available. Read more about the health benefits of Hydrogen gas.
How much water will this system produce?
The AlkaViva R/O includes a high-capacity 5-gallon storage tank (almost 2 gallons bigger than most other systems). R/O storage tanks are rated by the volume of their external shell. The actual amount of water that can be extracted from the tank is about half.
Since water ionizers split the water into alkaline and acidic streams, one can expect to draw about 1.3 gallons of alkaline water at a time.
The system will automatically replenish the storage tank at a rate of about 1-2 gallons per hour. Note that lower water temperatures will result in slower replenishment.
Systems with Blank Filters
The AlkaViva reverse osmosis system provides proper filtration for most water ionizers. So, if you have a water ionizer that allows for blank filters, such as Jupiter or H2-Series, you can use them instead of the higher-priced replacement filters. We'll include the blank filters free if you request it (see dropdown menu when ordering).
Also, each year that you go to order replacement filters for your RO system we'll include new chips for the H2 Series water ionizer blanks you have if you request it.
What are Your Replacement Filter Schedules?
Every year, you'll need to do a filter replacement as follows.
On the 1st, 3rd, 5th... years, you should use the "annual replacement pack, which includes the 2 filters and remineralizer.
On the 2nd, 4th... and so on [alternate years], you should use the "bi-annual replacement pack, which includes everything in the annual pack plus a new "membrane."
INTRODUCTION/PRECAUTIONS
This Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration System (RO System) uses multiple filtration technologies to reduce the levels of contaminants in the water supply. For proper operation, it is essential to confirm that the influent water supply complies with the following parameters.
DO NOT USE WATER THAT IS MICROBIOLOGICALLY UNSAFE OR OF UNKNOWN QUALITY WITHOUT ADEQUATE DISINFECTION BEFORE OR AFTER THE SYSTEM.
Water Supply: Must be potable
Feed Water Pressure: 40-60 to 80 psi. Generally, this system requires a minimum of about 40 psi at the membrane inlet with

I Installed the system under my sink myself, very easy. I also installed the Delphi H2 under sink water Ionizer at the same time. I found out a couple of things when using the system. The RO system makes a loud clacking , thumping noise whenever system is used. I called customer serve and they said that is normal, it is the pump which is run off of pressure, (no power). The other item is that when I measured the PH of the water coming out of the RO system it was 9. 7. My water out of the faucet is 7. 6. So when this RO water is fed into the Delpi H2 Ionizer the lowest I can get out of the Ionizer is 9. 7. I called customer service and they said it is caused by the Filters and mineral regenerator in the RO system, and should drop down in a few weeks. So Even the Filtered water out of the Ionizer is at 9. 7. It has been about 2-months using the system and it is now coming out at a PH of 9. 3. The meter on the H2 filter is at 230 right now. So maybe it takes longer to be able to get the lower PH's. Otherwise great tasting water and we have gotten used to the Thumping noise.

Was advised after I purchased they don't normally refund reverse Osmosis systems. Don't be trapped. I am a senior and on fixed income. These are bad people who care about money only, not people's health CEO won't respond to texts.
