The technology of Ultra-Fine Hollow-Membrane .01M Filters is proven to remove the following:
heavy metals
bacteria
viruses
cysts & spores
chlorine & residuals
many other chemicals
The .01M Biostone Ultra Filter is used for Aquarius, Orion, Melody. Microlite, Neptune, Venus, Athena, Delphi, and Mavello. Biostone .01 Micron uses granulated silver-impregnated carbon and ultra-fine filtration technology. If you have well water or have a concern about bacteria in your water, this is the filter you want. If your water is treated by a municipality, then consider the Biostone Plus or UltraWater filters.
Jupiter .01M Biostone filter is the finest water filter available for domestic water purifiers (the same size as is used for kidney dialysis).
This filter allows essential alkalizing minerals to pass through while cleaning and ionizing the water. Contains layers of Tourmaline and Coral Calcium within an anti-bacterial carbon block filter.
Tourmaline crystal is known to be a beautiful, semi-precious gem. Now as a mineral it also became a focus of scientific research. One of the reasons is that infrared Tourmaline is the only mineral on earth to show permanent electricity. It was found by researches in Japan that even broken into pieces, Tourmaline crystals always maintained a positive and negative electrodes.
The stone is known to be used for improving circulation, relieving stress and its anti-bacterial qualities. Inside your filter it transforms water into a mild alkaline water. Other qualities of Tourmaline crystal are used in your Biostone filter to reducing water cluster size and minimizing odor.
A Jupiter Science Advantage Biostone and Ultra-Biostone Filters * Used Exclusively in the latest Jupiter Water Ionizers All Jupiter ionizer cells are manufactured in Jupiter's state-of-the-art factory in Japan. Their research department has existed since the early 1980s and employs about 20 Engineers with Doctorates ensuring that Jupiter ionizers continues to out-perform and out-last the competition.
This quality control also extends to the new Biostone filters.
No heavy metals etc. are released from this filter The activated carbon in the filter comes from the UK and is NSF certified The calcium in the filter comes from Japan and is certified by the Japanese Government The Ceramic in the filter is produced in Korea and comes with Korean FDA certification All ingredients are put into the filter housing where sealing is achieved by using high motion heat friction thereby avoiding the need for any harmful chemicals. This filter is available as an optional upgrade filter for the Microlite, Melody, Venus, Neptune, Orion and Aquarius models. It is the finest (smallest micron) domestic filter available and will remove virtually everything except for the essential alkalizing minerals.
All the latest Jupiter Science ionizers have a digital readout that shows how long before you need to change your filter.
A filter typically lasts a family of four between 8 to 9 months and gives a good 1000 gallons of water. We recommend changing the filter at least once every 12 months to ensure quality performance.
How often you should change your filter does depend on the quality of your water and the amount of water you are using each day on average. If you smell or taste chlorine in your water after it passes through your Ionizer you should change your filter. In some city water supplies the amount of chlorine now used is at higher levels than before due to increases in contaminants. Also if you notice that the flow rate through your filter has decreased to a slow rate then it is probably because it is full of particles and now needs replacement.
