“I have a feral cat that has extreme allergies to everything. I am able to feed him .2ml dex in tuna am and pm (per vet's advice) which controls his allergies. Prior to this he scratched his ears and face to the point of bleeding and taking all of his hair off.”
“My cat has had moderate to severe asthma/ chronic bronchitis for most of her adult life.. She is a senior, about 13 years old now, active otherwise. No nasal discharge, but symptoms include sneezing, coughing, and asthma attacks lasting anywhere from 30 seconds to 1 minute or more DAILY. Previously she had been on Prednisone for this condition, tablets then liquid, but it didn't seem to be enough relief, and administering the medication was becoming difficult on her and me. The doctor suggested Dexamethasone injections twice weekly to relieve the inflammation in her lungs, eventually weening to once a week. After the first dose, Chloe felt immediate relief. She no longer has daily attacks, and with the weekly treatments, she has had very few, very minor episodes of any respiratory distress, about once weekly, lasting 10-15 seconds or less. Administering an injection to my own cat was an adjustment, but she has never felt the needle or displayed any signs of discomfort. This medication has improved her quality of life, and given her many more comfortable years to breathe easier.”
“I use Dexamethasone in the summer for my horses sweet itch. we a lot of mosquito Helps decrease itching and skin issues. I love the fact that it works fast.”
