We got a beautiful load of mix hay this past December. It leaned more toward alfalfa and my horse loves it. His gut however, became quite flatulent. This condition has abated quite a bit as he's adjusted to the hay. I've been giving him the Probios Equine One to assist him for almost 2 years now. I don't believe it helped with the flatulence, however, I have seen him a bit perkier and his condition is excellent. He had a move from a barn environment where he was stall kept, to a much larger living area with his own hay barn and tack room. These stressful changes, even though they are better for him in the long run, took a toll. I started the Probios when he became ill while still at the barn. It was rather a mystery illness until one of my vets discovered that with his supplements, there was allot of crossover, and possibly too much sugar from the carrots, apples & horse cookies that we gave to him daily. One of his symptoms was excessive thirst and urination & fatigue--we thought Cushings Disease. When we stopped all supplements, carrots, apples and horse cookies, the excess thirst/urination & fatigue ceased. I feel the Probios helped ease all of these transitions that my horse has been through in the past two years. Never underestimate the benefits of microbial products, for a variety of reasons!
