“Using drontal to de-parasite an abandoned cat (by a store) who clearly has round worm. I administer with food as it causes nausea. I give 1/2 dose and the other 1/2 about 1 hour later, eliminating the chance of feline vomiting up the medication. It works if used correctly by cats weight, otherwise, toxic. Better to use less than more, doesn't have to be exact, it works.”
“Most of my cats are somewhat easy to give tabs, these seem to work for all of them. Have 1 cat that is more resestant but that's no fault of the drug. Wish there was something to prevent them. Tapeworm shots cost $18, varies by weight. We use Revolution but as we all know it only takes 1 flea when they are biting at them. The fleas are horrible in Atlanta and having a mild, wet winter will enhance breeding.”
