“I was using Frontline drops, and they were doing NOTHING against fleas and ticks. I live in Northern CA, and walk my dog by rivers and lakes, and take her on hikes with me regularly. I was pulling several fleas and ticks off of her after each walk in nature, and just couldn't seem to shake the fleas no matter how often I washed her. I took my dog to the vet, and the vet told me that the fleas around here have become resistant to Frontline over the last couple of active seasons, and that I should try Nexgard. Within 2-3 HOURS of giving my dog the chewable Nexgard dose, the fleas were LITERALLY falling off of her and dying. It was MAGIC. Since then, we haven't had any trouble keeping the fleas away. Additionally, I have found a few ticks (A LOT fewer than before Nexgard) on her after walks, but they don't attach! We had a few instances where the heads of ticks were too buried to dig out, and that was what prompted the vet visit. Since giving my dog the first Nexgard chewable, I have not had to extract a single tick! This is a great product. Additionally, I got Nexgard on Allivet for about half the price that the vet charges. It was very easy to get the Rx from my vet and send it in. Allivet was even very nice and understanding when, due to some family circumstances, my original order was cancelled because I failed to send in the Rx in a timely fashion. When I called their customer service, the woman I spoke with was very nice, and even gave me the coupon discount that I had on my original order for the re-order. Once I got my act together and sent the Rx, I had the meds delivered to my door in about a week or so. Great customer service!”
