“I bought the Canine Cardio for my 10 1/2 year old Great Pyrenees. He is not a house dog, but a livestock guardian, so even though he is rather old for a big working dog, he does a great job and we want to keep him healthy. He has some health issues with his heart. Hawthorn is one of the best herb to support heart health. I had wanted to give at least three chews to Chief. They are very hard and Chief has a hard time chewing and keeping them in his mouth. I wonder how a smaller breed could even chew them. I cut each 'chew bone' into pieces and add them to his evening meal. I wish they were softer and easier to chew, That is my only complaint. They need to be softer, like heartworm meds. Easy to chew !!”
