“I bough this product on the recommendation of my dog Sparky's veterinarian. Sparky is an 11 year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi who has been having trouble with his rear legs and having difficulty walking, moving around and controlling the use of his legs. I was at the point of considering if he was at the end and that I may possibly have to face the reality that it was more unkind to keep him going. His doctor examined him and said absolutely not, there is something else she wanted to try and that solution was a regimen of pain medication and Meloxidyl (Metacam). We tried it as Sparky sometimes has a delicate digestive system that can not tolerate new medication. Meloxidyl has made a dramatic difference to Sparky. He is now more energetic and seems like his younger self. His back legs still are weaker than when he was younger but this medication has truly given Sparky a second wind and has made a huge difference in his and my life! I thank Sparky's doctor and Allivet for a great product and helping Sparky have a better quality of life! A longer one as well!”
