“Our dog has been on this product for one month. It is too early to notice a difference, as she has to titrate up to an effective level. She has severe separation anxiety, and anxiety in general. Allivet has the cheapest price on this medicine, and it appears to be the same medication as the vet. Will order again.”
“My dog has high anxiety, I adopted him from a shelter where he had been over a year. When I first adopted him, he destroyed my whole house for month. It wasn't until I got him on Clomicalm and did some behavior modification techniques (mostly involving leaving and reentering the house a million times) as well as trying to crate train him. I tried to wean him off the Clomicalm after a few months but I find it just brings him from a 'level 10' to a 'level 5.' I give him two long walk/runs a day as well. I find he's less dog aggressive and just calmer in general. I'm giving it four stars because he seems lethargic sometimes and they also haven't done long term studies on Clomicalm so I'm not sure if this is doing long term damage. I am having his liver checked routinely by the vet. I've decided it's best at this time for his daily happiness and well being to continue on the drug.”
