Safe Guard Dewormer For Goats & Livestock - 125ml | Allivet Reviews

4.9 Rating 45 Reviews
Frankly, the goat dewormer is for my dogs. After much research it turns out that it's the same med- fenbendazole. The dosage needs adjusting for dogs (more research) and by calculating what that expense would be, it comes out much cheaper compared to the same stuff labeled for 'dogs'. Especially in light of the fact that it needs to be repeated for 3 days and then again in a month. Easy to give to the dogs and it's very effective.

Several years ago, one of my new rescue kitties was diagnosed with Giardia. It was impossible to get pills down her that the vet prescribed. When I researched the condition on the Internet, I found fenbendazole was highly recommended and I found the Safeguard brand on your website. Your pharmacist/vet explained how I could use this 'off label' for my young cat and provided me withthe proper dosage amount. It worked beautifully and has no awful taste like the drug prescribed by my vet. Now, my daughter has adopted two rescue kitties who have been diagnosed with Giardia. Their vet will be giving them an initial treatment with a new drug (equally unpleasant tasting to the cat). But once they are home, I am suggesting to my daughter she give them a full treatment of fenbendazole on a monthly basis for awhile because Giarda is very hardy and can return.
