“This medication is much less irritating to my dog's stomach than the VetProphen I ordered from Allivet; that stuff made him sick and act weird. He is currently on 325mg aspirin daily as needed (given with food of course) for pain. I have just been able to afford his Carprofen again. Giving it with food helps deter any GI upset. NOTE: YOU MUST WAIT 3 DAYS BEFORE STARTING Carprofen/Rimadyl etc if your dog is on Aspirin and visa versa. this is because they are both NSAIDS and you run the risk of a gastrointestinal bleed) check with your vet before changing from one NSAID to another; if unsure always check and NEVER give your pets Tylenol!!!!! I only add these notes because some people just simply don't know, it's only meant to be helpful, not degrading towards anyone's intelligence. GOD BLESS hope this med helps your babies feel better!”
“Another safe and effective drug for my senior canine who has wrist problems. This generic is much more affordable than the name brand and keeps my dog comfortable.”
