“My dog is riddled with arthritis. I did a trial, didn’t think it made much difference, but when she came off the carprofen, she was clearly in greater discomfort. So carprofen it is. Just be mindful that if your dog takes this, he cannot take ANYTHING prednisone/steroid based due to potentially lethal GI consequences. So proceed with caution. But it has given her the ability to walk around without clear and obvious pain—prior to, her poor legs had even collapsed numerous times when standing after periods of rest.”
