I have used in several cases with special needs kitties and it has saved lives and prevented fatty liver disease which is usually fatal. I learned about this med when I was losing a precious kitty to FLD and I am so grateful. My current IBD kitty cannot take Mirtazepine due to an unpleasant side effect.
