“My cat was stressed after a long distance move and moving in with two other cats and started urinating/spraying. He also got extremely food insecure and anxious and would spend much of the day hiding under the bed. After a week of the amitriptyline I've noticed a difference and no more peeing. Will see how it continues. It has made him more relaxed but kind of sleepy. Better than running to hide when a plane would fly over the house or the doorbell would ring.”
