“Our vet recommended switching our newly diabetic dog to a high fiber diet. We tried the other prescription diet food, and our dog wouldn't eat it. So we switched her to Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets EN Gastroenteric FB and she ate that pretty readily, but she started to wake us up at 1 am to go outside for a #2 potty. So we started to give her a blend of the Pro Plan EN and her regular food (2/3 Pro Plan, 1/3 the other brand), and this is working much better for us. It has alleviated the middle of the night potty breaks and it is helping to regulate her sugars better. We just wish the price of the food was less expensive (not covered on our vet insurance) but it helps to mix it with another brand. Shipping time was acceptable and free for this product. We highly recommend Allivet.”
