Do not use a product for humans. Dogs, Cats, and humans have different calibrations. The AlphaTrak test strips and glucose monitoring device is the way to go.”
“Got it for my dog. Wished I could use the test strips 2 times. They are 2 sided & I test my dog 2xs a day. They can't be used 2xs - day an night due to machine reads error. They are great IF you make a mistake on first try, you can't save the stick to use other side till evening. They average $1.10 per stick. The kit has everything you need an just a FYI, human testers don't work on dogs, I bought one an it failed. This is vet recommend therefore I wanted the best reading for my dog”
