“As both pet parent & veterinarian, I have a unique dual-sided experience. As a pet parent, I was thrilled when the company reached out to let me know they were working to get my prescription filled, but as a veterinarian I was irritated that they claimed to have contacted the clinic twice with no response. In truth, I had not received any communication from them at the hospital where I work, but I had taken the time to fax a written prescription for the product a full day before receiving the email claiming they had twice tried to contact the clinic. As for the delivery of the medication, once the communications were cleared up, Allivet was amazing! My order arrived exactly as advertised, on time, and undamaged. More over, the product is exactly what I ordered - in date (not expired), sealed with a tamper-proof seal (so I know the medication in the bottle is the actual medication), and appropriately labeled for with clear directions for use. For the product, itself, it is too early to tell - my 16 year old cocker spaniel mix has canine cognitive dysfunction syndrome and it can take up to 2 months before improvement is seen. We have only had the prescription for about 4 days, but I am hopeful that we will have positive results. Even though I only gave 4/5 stars due to the minor communication confusion, I would 100% recommend this company to my friends, family, &/or clients based on my personal experience with my single item purchase & I will continue to use Allivet for my own personal pet parent/veterinary needs.”
