“Rennie is the second dog I've had who suffered from a heart murmur. The old drug combo of choice was enalapril + salix, but Rennie's regimen has been replaced with enalapril + vetmedin, which seems to be working wonderfully to slow the progression of the disease. It is quite a bit more expensive though.”
“I wish I could find a generic pimobendan that was cheaper. My vet advised against compounded pimobendan as she conveyed that they aren't absorbed as well. This product seems to be the product of choice.”
