“ALLIVET MAKES REFILLING PET MEDICATION SO EASY. THIS IS THE SECOND PET THAT HAS TAKE VETMEDIN FOR A HEART CONDITION..IM CERTAIN THIS AND GREAT CARE FROM OUR VET HAS KEPT THEM COMFORTABLE AND PROLONGED THE TIME WE SHARE WITH THEM.”
“My dog (13 year old maltipoo), Soph, was diagnosed with heart failure almost a year ago and I thought there was no way she could improve. She was coughing and weak, wouldn't eat, etc. With this medication in conjunction with two others (Furosemide and Enalapril) she has made a 180* turnaround and I think she'll be with me for many days to come. I have had to increase her diuretic (Furosemide) a couple of times with the vet's guidance, but other than that everything has worked like a charm and she's back to acting like a goofy spring chicken. Tip: the diuretic does cause dogs to have to pee often and lose control of their bladder at times so I buy baby diapers and cut a hole for her tail. She hated them at first but doesn't even notice anymore. I change them every few hours and let her "air out" between changings so she doesn't get a UTI. Also, she has increased her fluid intake substantially and it can be dangerous for a dog to be without water for even a few hours on these meds, so make sure to provide water at all times. I keep a few bowls around the house now. She loves these tablets just as they are and then I put the other two in a little all natural peanut butter. As soon as I wake up in the morning she runs to the kitchen where I keep her meds because she's so excited about this new mandatory treat time.”
