“My rat terrier had been taking Vetmedin for almost a year. We were monitoring her liver function tests every six months. The Cardiologists were concerned when her ALT, Alk Phos and BUN results were extremely high. They both wanted to do liver tests. I asked for her to be taken off of Vetmedin for a month to see if the tests would return to normal. Yesterday, all her liver function blood tests returned to normal. We will be treating her with Digoxin from here on out.”
