“My 7 year old Chihuahua was diagnosed with heart disease. Leading up to this she was very sedentary and crabby. I originally wanted to cut a 5mg pill into 4 but my vet wouldn't approve the prescription because they claim it will crumble when cut into 1/4ths so that was disappointing. After this I called the manufacturer and she told me that they do not guarantee the correct dosage if the pill if cut more then once so something to keep in mind.
