“My 13 year old miniature dachshund got diagnosed with severe mitral regurge and a 5/6 heart murmur last year. Considering I work in a cardiac catheterization lab I am very familiar with the terms and understanding that this is leading to heart failure and his heart was enlarged in X-ray due to the MR. the vet recommended this and I did read up on it and it says to it prolong their life 1-2 years and here we are almost a year and a half later and wow he’s like a different dog!!!! HUGE difference we noticed within a week but the long term effects are undeniable. He doesn’t constantly cough or breath hard due to fluid overload associated with heart failure bc this medicine helps with the heart failure. Definitely would recommend and this IS the cheapest place for this Med. my vet charged me $110 and here at the time I paid $67 and this led has gone up as the demand for it goes up but I will continue to keep him on this and shop with allivet”
